Dear Mr. Engel:
My District Representative, Scott Wilson, informed me of your recent visit to my office to discuss your ongoing workers’ compensation concerns.
Your frustration over this situation is certainly understandable. As you may know, I cannot directly involve myself or my office in any matter that has been brought before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board for deliberation. However, the issues raised in your correspondence and materials regarding the 1993 changes in workers’ compensation laws are well-founded, and I will keep them in mind when it comes time to consider legislation next year.
I appreciate your bringing your concerns to my attention, and I only wish I could be of some further assistance to you.
Sincerely,
RICHARD K. RAINEY,
Senator, 7th District
