Know Your Legal Rights:
Study your Local Union's by-laws and Union Constitution. Study your union's contract with your employer. Study Federal Labor Law. Study your State or Province Labor Laws. Demand your union and employer follow them exactly. To enforce the law contact your union and/or the appropriate government agency for proper procedures. Document your actions, write letters, tell the truth and never quit. If a government agency is unresponsive contact your Federal, State or Province legislators. Ask them to oversee your situation. If necessary they can amend laws or create them. If the Union Constitution, By-laws or Contract are unjust, Change them! The news media may be interested. Ask your co-workers if they have problems.
