Dear Craig:

Teamsters Local 70 is in receipt of your grievance dated May 3, 1996, for incidents dated April 8, April 29, and May 1, 1996. Dave Counts or Tim Mosier are the shop stewards in your Center. Did you give him a copy of the grievance for their response? In addition, you did not state the Article or Section of the contract violated. You also waited past forty-five days to give me a copy of the grievance, so you would be untimely in your filing.

I have talked to the Company and the stewards, and they advised me you have received a copy of your vacation picks. They are available to any driver, upon request, plus the vacation list is posted on the bulletin board. Based on the information you have provided me, I see no basis for a grievance.

As always, I will keep an open mind. If I have missed something, please let me know.
