  Join us for an interfaith memorial for the thousands of victims of the recent earthquake in India, and learn about the MA Center’s efforts to aid the victims through its Indian charitable organizations, as well as local charitable projects.

Our program will include:

Prayers for the earthquake victims
Presentation on charitable activities, both local and abroad
Inspirational music and traditional dance of India
Delicious vegetarian dinner (as our guests)

Our honored guests and speakers will include:

  • Nate Miley, Alameda County Supervisor
  • Shri Abhayankar, Consul General of India in San Francisco
  • Rev. Steven Lee, Court Street United Methodist Church, Alameda
  • Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya, MA. Center
  Before the program, starting at 5:00 PM, there will be a chant dedicated to the earthquake victims. Feel free to join us for the hour long chant, or just arrive for the 6:00 PM program.
