Dear Ms. Muniz:
This letter is in reference to the pre-panel meeting of 11-15-96. This meeting was attended by yourself, Automotive Division Manager, Paul Wartenbergh, Automotive Manager, Mike Sousa, Hub Manager Tom Owens, Teamster Local 78 Business Agent, Dan Varella, Car Washer, Brad DeMaria, Car Washer, Matt McLoone and myself.
You informed those present that there are no secret or unwritten policies or rules that dictate disciplinary action be taken against employees in specific yet undisclosed circumstances. Your comments are in direct contradiction to the statements you made at the pre-panel meeting of August 29, 1996. Furthermore, you refuse to validate your current position in writing.
I have yet to be notified of the section and article of the contract or secret policy that I was disciplined for violating. Please consider this letter to be a formal request that I be informed, in writing, of a decisive position relevant to my correspondence.
Sincerely,
Charles R. Engel
